Introduction

The Physical Society of Hong Kong (PSHK) and the American Physical Society (APS) have agreed to hold a satellite conference in Hong Kong during the APS March Meeting from March 23 to 27, 2026. Some academic presentations made at the Hong Kong venue can be simultaneously broadcasted to the online platform of the APS March Meeting, and attendees can also view presentations from the APS online platform. Under the circumstances where some researchers are unable to attend the meeting in the United States due to visa issues, our conference will provide a valuable platform for them to showcase their research achievements and engage in academic exchanges with international collaborators.

Stage Presentation Talk: This will give you an opportunity to showcase your research on stage presenting in front of the conference participants

Poster Session: Your Abstract will be displayed in the conference venue in the Poster section for conference participants to visit and see.

*Note: High Caliber Researchers will be considered for the selection process of their Research Stage Presentation Talk being live-streamed to APS March Meeting at United States.

(1) The registration fee of APS March Meeting 2026 Hong Kong, if paid by January 16th, 2026, includes virtual attendence of APS March Meeting 2026 (valued at at least US$604 for Staff and US$218 for Student)

(2) A small number of oral presentations will be live-streamed on the APS March Meeting virtual platform

(3) Refund Policy: A 50% refund is available before the registration deadline (23:59:59 Jan 16, 2026). After the registration deadline, no refunds will be given for non-attendance.

The APS Conference will be held at Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC 香港生產力促進局), Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR, China.

Hong Kong Productivity Council is a multi-disciplinary organisation, established in 1967. It is tasked with promoting and assisting the Hong Kong business sectors.

HKPC’s headquarter is located at the HKPC Building at 78 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon, founded in 1990. HKPC is partially funded by the HKSAR Government, and the rest of incomes from services fees.

Note: Due to the upcoming conference, the number of hotel reservations is high and the room supply is tight. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to book a room.

Please notice the Deadline of the submission, and you can also book other hotels you prefer.

We also recommend hotels near the MTR stations of Sha Tin (沙田), Tai Wai (大圍), Prince Edward (太子) and Mong Kok (旺角), all of which are near HKPC and have relatively friendly prices on platforms such as Ctrip (携程).
